Barebone Budgeting is a goal-tracking and savings motivation tool designed to help you build better spending habits. The service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We also reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription tiers in the future — we will provide reasonable notice to existing users before any such changes take effect.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the service or help anyone else do so. This includes: attempting to access unauthorized areas of the service, interfering with other users' access or use, using the service for any unlawful purpose, or attempting to reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
5. Intellectual Property
Barebone Budgeting, its name, logo, and all related content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any personal data and content you input into the service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any savings calculations or projections displayed. Barebone Budgeting is a motivational tool — it is not financial advice, and nothing in the service should be construed as such. Please consult a qualified financial professional for financial decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barebone Budgeting and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the app.
8. Tips and Donations
Tips are entirely voluntary and non-refundable. Leaving a tip does not grant you any additional features, rights, or priority support. Tips are processed securely through Stripe.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We reserve the right to change our pricing model with advance notice to existing users.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may stop using the service at any time.
